Tooth Whitening, for a Dazzling Smile

Bleaching teeth is our most requested cosmetic procedure! It’s often requested a few weeks before weddings, reunions and social gatherings, for that dazzling white smile, so important for pictures!  Or just to impress those you haven’t seen in a while.

Bleaching Choices

Teeth before bleaching

Very yellow teeth before bleaching. Before at-home bleaching.

Now-a-days you have so many choices for bleaching. The main choices are; over the counter bleaching products, at-home or in-office bleaching provided by the dentist. Or a combination of at-home and in-office bleaching, we call this Deep Bleaching.

There are some very significant differences in the choices above. The biggest difference is the strength of the whitening ingredients.

Current dentist-supervised bleaching is approved by the American Dental Association, and uses stronger ingredients than over–the-counter products.

Teeth stained yellow, brown or orange undergo dramatic results. Tetracycline stained teeth are transformed.  The results of each patient are dependent on the nature of their stain, the bleaching method used, and how instructions are followed.

At Home Bleaching

Our office creates custom trays for you. These thin lightweight trays allow you to bleach while you sleep, talk and work, all in comfort.

Dr. Larson’s staff will provide you with materials and instructions for at-home bleaching. Slight gum irritation and tooth sensitivity, experienced by some patients, resolves when the treatment is completed.

In Office Deep Bleaching

In-office Deep Bleaching also requires fabrication of custom bleaching trays for your mouth, along with three dental appointments. This method yields the most dramatic results.

Tooth Whitening Touch-ups

After deep bleaching. WOW!

Though our bleaching technique preserves your beautiful smile for many years, you may want retouch your teeth a couple of times a year. Personal habits such as smoking, drinking coffee or tea, may require more frequent touch-ups. With our bleaching help, you’re ready for your photo shoot or the next big event!
