Stop Cold Sores Quickly
Do you get cold sores?
If you get cold sores like I do you know how humiliating they are. If you don’t get them the information here will help you prevent yourself from getting them. I was always told that I would “grow out of them”, not true, unfortunately. I was also told that after age two people cannot contract cold sores, again not true. Anything from kissing to a razor or toothbrush shared with individuals that have cold sores can result in infection of others.
Cold sores are usually from stress
I am from a family of six, I am the only one that gets cold sores. I know for myself that stress is usually the culprit to initiate an outbreak. Others may react to sun overexposure, but that’s just a form of stress.
Cold sores are also called fever blisters. This is a virus, most people are exposed to this but only 20-40% will actually have recurring breakouts. The breakout usually consists of small blisters filled with a clear fluid. These blisters heal over the course of 10-14 days, will often join to create larger blisters, then break open and scab over. Do not expose yourself to this fluid,
do not share a fork or kiss an individual with a sore that is in this stage.
Stop the embarrassment
As I stated at the beginning, cold sores are extremely embarrassing. Some recommendations to abbreviate the blisters are Vitamin C, Lysine supplements or creams such as abrevia or zilactin. There is also a prescription pill called Valtrex.
The most effective remedy I have found is a laser treatment, it takes about 5 minutes. The cold sore must be at the very initial stage when it is just starting to burn and tingle. Using the laser at this initial stage cuts healing time from two weeks to five days for me. The photos along side this article are of me. Notice how quickly I go through the stages with laser treatment.
Cold Sore Laser Treatment
Use the laser within 2 hours of feeling the tingling sensation. You avoid the blister, and move straight to the crusty stage. In this case the lesion was completely gone in 5-6 days! That’s simply incredible.
